At Susan Earth Insights, the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and communities is our highest priority. We believe that every incident is preventable and that a strong safety culture supported by leadership, training, and systems is essential to our success.
Our safety management system is aligned with regional and international standards and best practices across the USA, Canada, Australia, and Europe. It includes hazard identification and risk assessment, safe work procedures, PPE requirements, and emergency preparedness. We hold ourselves and our contractors accountable to the same high standards.
Visible leadership, worker participation, stop-work authority. Safety meetings, toolbox talks, and campaigns to reinforce expectations and share lessons learned.
Appropriate PPE, equipment maintained to high standards, hazard controls. We monitor exposure to noise, dust, and occupational hazards and offer wellness and mental health support.
Mandatory training tailored to role and site: orientation, equipment operation, emergency response, and refreshers. Classroom, e-learning, and hands-on methods.
Each site has emergency response plans and trained teams. We conduct drills and use monitoring technologies to detect and respond to abnormal conditions quickly.
We invest in technology such as proximity detection, fatigue management tools, and digital monitoring to reduce risk and support our workforce. Leadership regularly engages with workers on safety, and we recognize and reward safe behaviour and innovation. Our safety performance is tracked, reported, and continuously improved with the goal of zero harm.
